MSc Researcher

Cherise is a MSc Agric candidate specializing in Animal Sciences. Currently immersed in dairy cattle research, she explores the impact of the feed additive Amaferm on production parameters, rumen environment, and fiber degradation in grazing Jersey cattle. Cherise conducts her research at Outeniqua Research Farm, of the Western Cape Department of Agriculture, gaining insights into diverse dairy farming practices. Her passion for research, animals, and agriculture drives her commitment to addressing challenges in the dairy farming sector and the broader livestock value chain in South Africa.
