Kayla is a MSc (Agric) Animal Sciences graduate in the Ruminant Nutrition program. She has done extensive research on the effect of probiotics on feedlot lamb production and in vitro rumen kinetics. She is currently a full-time heifer rearing manager at PE Loubser Boerdery (Fair Cape Dairies). This position is providing an on-farm learning experience, enabling Kayla to better address the needs and practical requirements of farmers, her primary client as an Animal Scientist.
