MSc Researcher

Lisa is a graduate student from Stellenbosch University with a BScAgric degree in Animal Science. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Animal Sciences at the same institution. Her research focuses on determining the effect of Allium sativum in mitigating Cryptosporidium species in neonatal dairy heifer calves, particularly concentrating on animal nutrition and health. Driven by a profound interest in the dairy industry, her passion especially lies with enhancing and contributing to the well-being and productivity of dairy calves. Lisa was also awarded the South African Society for Animal Science Merit Award and the Rector’s Award for excellent academic achievement in 2023..
